Day 1: Hue – Dong Ha (B, L, D)

- A DMZ Tours vehicle and guide pick you up at Phu Bai airport, Hue, and drive to Dong Ha. Check in at a 3-star hotel, dinner, free evening.
Day 2: Dong Ha – Savannakhet (B, L, D)

- Leave for Savannakhet.

- Border formalities.

- Lunch in Sethamuoc.
- 15h00
- Arrive in Savannakhet and visit That Inghang, a Buddhist holy site for all of Indochina.
Check in at the Hoongthip hotel (3*). Visit Wat Xayaphoum, the largest, oldest and most sacred temple in Savannakhet, and the Mekong River port. - 19h00
- Dinner, free evening. You can go dancing at one of the city's clubs (at your own expense).
Day 3: Savannakhet – Vientiane (B, L, D)

- Breakfast, leave for Vientiane.
- 12h00
- Arrive in Vientiane, lunch at a restaurant, check in at the Lan Xang hotel (3*) or similar.
- 14h00
- Visit That Luang square, symbol of Theravada Buddhist Laos, Wat Ho Phra Keo, the oldest temple in Vientiane, and the Patuxai Victory Monument, modelled on the Arc de Triomphe in Paris.

- Dinner, free evening.
Day 4: Vientiane – Nakhon Phanom, Thailand (B, L, D)
- 7h00
- Breakfast, drive back to Thakhek, lunch at the Mekong restaurant.

- Border formalities into Thailand at the Thakhek international border gate. Check in at the Riverside hotel (3*) or similar. Ride a tuk-tuk, the traditional Thai transport, to the Vietnam – Thailand Friendship Village and the Ho Chi Minh memorial house, where Ho Chi Minh lived and carried out revolutionary work while in Thailand. Shopping at the Lotus supermarket.

- Thai dinner – suki hotpot or nuea yang (grilled beef) – and a free evening (you can go dancing at one of the city's clubs, at your own expense).
Day 5: Nakhon Phanom – Dong Ha (B, L)

- Check out, breakfast.
- 8h00
- Border formalities back into Laos.
- 11h30
- Lunch in Sethamuoc.
- 15h00
- Border formalities at Densavan – Lao Bao, shopping at the Lao Bao Trade Center.
- 18h30
- Arrive in Dong Ha. End of the tour.
