Day 1: Savannakhet – Hue (L, D)
Morning pick-up in Savannakhet and departure for Quang Tri province. Lunch in Muong Phin district. Border formalities into Vietnam, then visit the Vinh Moc Tunnels. Transfer to Hue. Dinner at the Hoa Vien restaurant, check in and overnight in Hue.
Day 2: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An (B, L, D)
After breakfast, visit the Imperial City, Thien Mu Pagoda and the Tomb of Khai Dinh. Lunch at the Royal restaurant. Leave for Hoi An through the Hai Van Pass Tunnel, one of the most impressive tunnels in Southeast Asia. Stop at the gift shops of the Non Nuoc stone-carving village. Arrive in the ancient town of Hoi An, check in, then free time to shop in the old quarter. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 3: Hoi An – Hue (B, L, D)
Breakfast. Explore the old quarter of Hoi An: the Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, the Hoi An Museum, the Japanese Covered Bridge and more.
Leave for Hue: lunch at the Thanh Tam restaurant and shopping at Dong Ba Market. Dinner at the Phuoc Thanh restaurant. 19h00: Hue folk songs on a boat on the Perfume River.
Day 4: Hue – Savannakhet
After breakfast, transfer to Savannakhet. Lunch in Muong Phin district, Laos. Arrive at the Savannakhet border gate for the formalities into Mukdahan, Thailand.
